If not mad enough that I ran it once, this year I will be attempting the Edinburgh Marathon for the second time. I blame the endorphins, but on the train post marathon #1 I was silly enough to set myself a challenge; run a marathon for every year of my PhD, so here we are. Crossing fingers I will manage it in less than 6 hours this time around! It would be wonderful to raise £10/km along the way for the fantastic charity that is The Listening Place. TLP is a charity offering support for people who feel like life is no longer worth living. I am frequently reminded how important charities such as TLP are!
