On the 16th March I will be completing a 17 mile walk from Watford To Tring along The Grand Union Canal with my fellow Bank Managers from the TSB Bank. I am very proud to be raising money for THE OLLIE FOUNDATION. (One Life Lost is Enough). The Charity was set up by 3 parents who lost their children to suicide as young as 15 years old. The Charity is devoted to stopping teenagers and young people taking their own lives. They offer ASSIST training (Applied Suicide Interventaion Training) to help and support vulnerable people. SAFETALK training in schools (Tell, Ask, Listen, Keep Safe). This enables people to become aware of children with suicide thoughts and provide much needed help. Being a devoted mother myself to my two wonderful boys I cannot even begin to imagine the pain these families have been through and the emptiness they must feel every single second of their lives. In my very own small way I would really love to make a difference and help raise awareness of suicide in children. To help them realise they really do have other choices.
