On May 5th Sarah Pattinson’s daughter Lucy-Jayne and her good friend Rachael will be running 11k at Temple Newsham. They will be raising money in memory of Sarah for Pink Events. Pink Events is the charity Sarah founded in 2004 and ran until she passed away in October 2023. Sarah gave her all to the charity and even in her final weeks she asked hospital staff how the charity could help them as they cared for her. The charity sums up Sarah’s nature perfectly, that she always wanted to help others and for them not to have to go without. Sarah’s legacy continues through Pink Events and the fundraising they do but it needs people like Lucy Jayne and Rachael to help along the way, this time with their sponsored run! Their ‘Dandelions At Dawn’ run will be 6.7 miles long on 5th May 2024. Please keep the ladies in your thoughts from now until the big day! Please dig deep and give whatever you can, your money will go directly to helping those who are in need and ensure Sarah’s memory lives on. Thank you ❤️
