Louise is taking on 30 challenges over the next year to raise funds in celebration of 30 incredible years of the Bluehouses. The money raised will support our youth and community work and also our new project 'The Bluehouses Academy'. You can be involved too! Ballysillan Youth for Christ, known as the BlueHouses provides informal youth work in Ballysillan, North Belfast, an area characterised by disadvantage, poverty and deprivation. Established in 1993, the BlueHouses is dedicated to meeting the social, educational, physical, emotional and spiritual needs of children and young people from all backgrounds and abilities. Staff and volunteers aim to walk alongside children and young people to help them achieve their potential by providing advice, love and support. The charity provides a comprehensive programme of recreational, educational, cross-community and citizenship initiatives which are geared towards effecting positive change in the lives of young people.
