Hi All, On 11th September 2016 I will be doing a Bungee Jump. This is a massive challenge for me as I am not a fan of heights at all and also suffer from a bit of vertigo! I will be jumping 143 metres above the Cloud Forests of Monteverde, Costa Rica. Most probably screaming all the way down. But it is all in aid of an amazing charity TACN (1165706) and their campaign in China called 'Together for Animals in China'. They do amazing work. The Dog and Cat Meat Trade is illegal in China but unfortunately still persists. TACN are actively seeking to end this horrendous abuse within China. The dog / cat meat trade was not something I was aware of until recently when I saw campaigning across social media to shut down the Yulin Dog Meat "Festival". The abuse and what only can be described as torture these poor animals go through made me sick to my stomach. Unfortunately there is a well held belief that the more pain and suffering the animal experiences the more tender the meat. Luckily charities like TACN are helping create awareness, educate people to help change these beliefs, rescue these animals and helping them find new homes. So please please dig deep and let's help this charity and these animals. Best, Hayley :)
