I am Zoe, Kevin Morley's niece, who founded Saltergate Children's Home in Ethiopia. SCH is establishing secure, legally-based homes in Ethiopia where children are sheltered, clothed, fed and have access to medical facilities and a progressive education. Our homes provide a loving, caring environment founded on Christian principles, respect for culture and the strength of the family. Kevin asked if I would race to raise money for SCH so I offered to do the Ladybower Trail Marathon on Friday 10th June 2022. Although I am a very keen runner, I have never entered a marathon so this will be a challenge on a number of levels - distance, approx 500m elevation and heat - which is my nemesis!
