I will be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge with north Yorkshire sport on Friday 8th July. Around 25miles. Anyone that knows me knows this is going to hurt (a lot). I'm supposed to write my story and the reasons for wanting to attempt it but rather than go into some sob story I'm just going to say that mental health is a huge problem for so many people and its not always visible to people on the outside. North Yorkshire Sport do a lot of work with kids in sport to help with the issues they face and I want to raise a little bit of money to help aid that support network. Times are tough for everyone right now after coming through lockdowns and now the rising cost of living so asking for donations doesnt seem right but if you can spare £1, £5 or even £10 it would be greatly appreciated and will all go to a worthy cause. If you cant donate for any reason id appreciate a share on facebook or somewhere just to raise some awareness for the charity. cheers :)
