For seven years I have been involved with Haven Homecare as chair of trustees. Haven Homecare is a charity based in North Cardiff which provides care to older people in their own homes to maintain their independence and social contacts for as long as possible. For almost as long I have talked about attempting the Three Peaks. It is now time to step up and do it not just for myself but for a cause very close to my heart. After sitting through many meetings to steer the Haven forward it will be good to get on my feet and do something physical and practical to express my support for Haven. Thanks for your support!
