The Pathfinder March, www.pathfindermarch.co.uk, is an annual 46 Mile endurance event which follows a circular route taking in the four main Airbases (Wyton (HQ), Gravely, Oakington and Warboys) and created to honour the memory of the members of the Pathfinder Force which existed from August 1942 till 1945. It starts at 04.00 on June 21st 2014 and participants have until 24.00 to complete the walk. Along the way participants must pass through and register at 8 checkpoints. EACH is a great charity dedicated to providing support for families and care for children and young people with life-threatening conditions. So a few blisters and sore joints and muscles is a small price to pay for raising money for such a great cause! The March is approximately 90,000 steps long and so I am looking to achieve sponsorship of 1 penny a step, so I hope you can sponsor a step or two.
