I have known The Door now for about 4 years through their youth club Engine Room, which is part of illuminate Stroud. From my first Sunday living in Stroud until now I have been at Engine Room every week I could, enjoying talking about the Christian faith and exploring our beliefs, as well as playing games and having nice snacks/food. About 9 months ago, I started volunteering for The Door for my bronze DofE award, and even though I have finished my DofE I have decided to keep volunteering to help them for the joy that their events and youth clubs have given me. When I was asked to fill the last space for the abseil I had to say yes. because it's a bit of fun and it raises money for my favourite charity. Although I don't have as long to raise money as the others, I would love for you to donate!
