Thank you!***** This week (8th-15th March) I am aiming to cycle 200km on my bike machine to raise funds for RUSH Kenya with International Needs. In 2020 I set myself the challenge of cycling 100km to raise vital funds for RUSH Kenya - and I did it! These funds helped RUSH Kenya to help people during the worst of the lockdown. But now I am setting my target higher and going for 200km! Will I manage? I am raising funds again for RUSH Kenya that is run by the wonderful Andrew and Lucy Amukowa. They are helping some of the most vulnerable families in Kakamega Kenya to meet their basic needs through their school, women's ministry, church and more. They are in great need of funding to make this all possible, especially with the extra financial hardship caused by the pandemic. Currently they are struggling to pay teacher salaries at the school, purchase food for the students, buy materials needed for examinations and more. They recently also faced the challenge of the expansion of the main road outside their school. As the government comes in to improve and expand the road, RUSH have had to move their gate and fence back fully onto their land to make space for it. This has been a stressful time for them and they still need to move the maize grinding mill and other resources. I want to raise £5,000 to help with some of these emerging needs - so please sponsor me! One of the best ways you could help students at RUSH Academy is to sponsor one through their education.
