In 2015, Jessica and myself were lucky enough to raise funds to go and work in South Africa along side the Khaya Centre. I am thrilled to let you all know that in August this year, we have been invited to go back and this time we are taking Jensen too. Jensen has a genetic illness called Alpha 1 anti trypsin defecieny and back when he was first diagnosed, we didn't ever imagine that he would be able to take a trip and adventrue like this. This is just one of the reasons we are going to ask you to dig deep. This and they amazing work that the Khaya Centre do for the people of Lehae. Khaya translates to HOME and home is exactly what it is to so many familes and young people. Urban Shift is the Charity that has helped to build Khaya into the amazing place it now is. Complete with satilite classrooms and kitchens. Khaya helps feed and educate so many of the community it has been built within. This year we are taking 26 out on mission, most of them being young people from Bolton. So simply changing lives in Africa and back at home.
