I'm challenging myself to complete at least one marathon (hopefully more!) during May by walking and running to raise money for Uganda Cancer Trust UK. This is a charity I have been involved in running for 10 years now and I'm so impressed by the people and organisations we support in Uganda. In particular the fantastic team at Makerere and Mulago Palliative Care Unit (MMPCU). Uganda Cancer Trust UK funding to MMPCU helps support the training of patient support volunteers, an expert information nurse, and gives funds for patient comfort and treatment.
