I'm running the Brighton Marathon next Sunday, 12th April, and have decided to do some last minute fund-raising for the charity Brain Tumour UK. Brain tumours have affected a number of my close family and parents of friends over recent years so this is my symbolic gesture to them - wishing them all the best.
As 26.2 miles is evidently not enough of a challenge already, I've also picked up an injury on the way, ITB syndrome - which in my case causes pain down my left leg when running long distances - so keep your fingers and toes crossed for me!
Thank you,
Hanna
