* * * * * I love making beer. I'm totally obsessed. I have the very tricky job of giving away most of the homebrew that I make - there is only so much that I can drink myself! More and more people are making requests for special brews for events - for weddings, boat launches, book launches and all sorts. And some people seem insistent on giving me money for the beer I provide. I make beer for the love of it - not for the money - but that doesn't mean that someone else shouldn't gain from my friends' insistent generousity. It's currently illegal to be gay in 78 countries in the world. In five of those, the maximum penalty is death. The Kaleiodscope Trust do brilliant work here in the UK, raising awareness, lobbying the UK government and working with all sort of different groups to affect meaningful change where people are living with prejudice and discrimindation in their countries.
