Inspired by all the great bread bakers in my family and following in the footsteps of my fab sister Barbara (who trail-blazed sponsored bread bakes for various causes in the 1980s), I'm going to bake as many delicious loaves of bread as I can on Sunday 16th April. Why? To raise money to support the wonderful work Practical Action do around the world every day and to have an opportunity to tell more people about them. It would be great to have your support ... even if, unfortunately, you live to far away to come and claim a loaf. Thank you! Nicola Made 60 lovely (I trust!) loaves that were a mixture of sourdough rye, white sourdough, wholemeal, rustic seeded white, half wholemeal half white and straight white loaves. Phew!
