Alex Jabore is raising £1,000 for Wilmslow Wells for Africa
About
In early May I plan to walk from Land's End in Cornwall to John o'Groats in Scotland. Its a trip which covers the End to End of Britain and over 1200 miles through the English countryside. I have given this venture three months, I'll be walking it alone carrying my camping gear, food and clothing. I am also doing this to raise funds and awareness for Wilmslow Wells for Africa, a wonderful local charity that works to get clean water to the poorest and most desolate parts of Africa. Women and children in these ares are left to walk over a mile to reach a water supply, often forced to use polluted sources and often becoming ill from water borne viruses. The construction of a well is such a positive catalyst for change: with clean and sustainable water the women and children have time to go to school, form a business and improve their lives. Please help me to raise money for this cause. Join me on the journey by following me on twitter @alexjabore and my blog http://girlhikingintheshires.blogspot.co.uk/
