Mike Amberry and Richard Bullivant will be walking the Dodentoch 2014 (Death March) on Friday 8th August in Belgium. It is a 100km (62 mile) walk starting at 9pm with a time limit of 24 hours, its an extremely long way with a lack of sleep and Im fairly sure itll either be baking hot or raining. Whilst we were originally taking part only for the glory and challenge (you also receive a pineapple at the finish), it has been suggested that we select a charity and collect sponsorship. With this in mind, weve selected Fairy Bricks which is a small charity that donates Lego to childrens hospitals and hospices for extremely sick children. The charity is run entirely by volunteers so all sponsorship will go directly to providing Lego. There is more information on the website.
