My Story
Hello my name is Gabriella. I am 12 years old and I am the youngest patrol leader in the 7th Royal Greenwich group (my scout's group). I first started scouts when my friend persuaded me to go with them since it was ‘enjoyable’. I thought it wouldn’t be ‘fun’ as scouts are usually seen as hardworking and ‘tough’ which I am not any of those but when I went for the first time it was so fun! I made friends, did fun activities and just had a perfect time! From then I kept on going every Thursday and just kept on having fun and even when I moved up to Scouts from Cubs it was still fun as we did even more games, and more activities outside (such as camping overnight or for multiple nights!) and cooking (which I love doing!). Being a part of the scouts gave me more confidence in myself to do things I wouldn’t usually like to be a part of, scouts showed me to be grateful for the things I can do and the places I can go. They showed me to be respectful and kind to people who can't do the same things as others and they gave me self-awareness. I decided to fundraise for 7th Royal Greenwich Scout Group because since they have given me so much in the last 3 years, I wanted to give something back as a way of saying Thank You for everything you have done for us. I wouldn’t be the same without scouts!
For my fundraising I will bake a cake, one of the skill I learned at scout. So You can also support me on 7th of December at St. Edwards Church Christmas Fair🎉🎄🎅🧑🏼🎄
Thank You everyone for your generosity!❤️
