In memory of Chris Lee. Baby showers are a fun! But my Wife, Michelle, decided that she didn't want one this time round. For our first child the Baby Shower was a bitter-sweet day. Our friend, and the landlord of the pub we had it in, Chris Lee sadly passed away a few miles down the road whilst the party was in full swing. There are other personal reasons, and with so much generosity coming from friends and family in preparation for the arrival of our twin girls in October we felt that maybe we could divert some of that towards children elsewhere who aren't quite as lucky as ours. We chose UNICEF because of the work they do with extremely underprivileged children in some truly difficult parts of the world, and we think it's a choice Chris would approve of. This page is for people who may have spent any money coming to a baby shower, on petrol, making cakes or buying any gifts, to donate that money to a good charity instead. Any donation however small will add up but we would stress that we have no expectations, we just know that some people would like an option such as this in the absence of a party. We chose Givey as the website to do this as they are the only website which donates 100% of all donations to the charity without taking a cut or charging any fees. Thanks everyone!
