Hey folks,
Ive signed up to a few cycle sportives/sportifs (for fun, not racing), and decided it would probably be a good idea to raise money for charity in the meantime.
The first one Caledonia Etape is on the 11th of May in Perthshire 81 miles with 1949m of climbing
Second One Three Pistes is on the 1st of June, and goes from Perth, up to Glenshee Ski Centre, Then to the Lecht Ski Centre, and finishes at the top of Cairngorm Ski Centre This is around 2500m of climbing, and may well break me! - 102 miles with 2690m of climbing There will probably still be snow up there and Im REALLY not going to enjoy this
Third one Tour O the Borders is on the 10th of August in Peebles 75 miles
I have entered these as a regular entrant with full Entry Fee to ensure 100% of the money raised goes to charity. and FNZ have agreed to match any money raised via the new Givey system.
The picture shown is half of one of the three climbs involved in the Three Pistes Sportif, so as you can see its not just plain sailing!
