I never thought i would become a runner... But at the beginning of this year i was inspired by a number of people close to me who were challenging themselves and proving things are possible. So i started running. On 7th September i will be doing the Great North Run Half Marathon 13.1mile. My chosen charity is Give us a Break 2010. At the moment West Cumbria doesn't have a Short Break Centre, a place where disabled children and their families have the support they need. The dream is to create 'A large, comfortable, ranch-style home where disabled children can visit with their carers to pursue a number of activities in a safe and stimulating environment.' Please give generously so this dream can one day be fulfilled.
