Donate the Dress is a charity project raising money for the Desert Flower Foundation, by selling wedding dresses and accessories (donatethedress.org). The money will go towards building a support centre in the UK to help survivors of female genital mutilation. No such centre currently exists and we are in desperate need of one. An estimated 170,000 women in the UK are affected. While fundraising and collecting dresses, shoes, accessories, suits and services, many people asked if they could donate money directly to the cause. Hence this website.
