The Wells needs you! We will be dancing the full day of Saturday 6 January from 10 am till 10 pm to help reopen a historic community centre! The Epsom Wells community centre was saved from closure but it now needs funding to help it fully reopen and become the thriving hub for the people of Epsom, Surrey and beyond. We are hoping to get as close to the magic number of £30 000 as possible. Sponsor our team of dancers through this Givey page - Cllr Bernie Muir who will be dancing 5 hours and Neva Novaky & James Baird to dance for 10 hours to help raise the fund needed to open The Wells. Community centres play a key role in supporting community spirit and tackling loneliness. Survey’s show that those who experienced chronic loneliness, meaning they feel lonely 'often or always' has been increasing with almost 10 percent of UK resident affected. You can also join in on the day! There will be dance classes (including ballroom, salsa and jive) followed by a dance party in the evening. Single class tickets are £8, full day access to classes and dance party £25 and evening party pass only £10. You can purchase tickets on the day!
