I will be running a marathon on a beautiful yet demanding course in Connemara on 12th April. At the time this was, and remains a ridiculous choice to have made. However, it will be made worthwhile if I can encourage you to donate a small amount to a worthy charity which I have chosen to support. Alzheimer's is a barbaric disease that afflicts most of those with dementia, and regrettably is likely to affect someone close to you one day. My family had the misfortunate of struggling with its effects on a loved one over the last decade, as it gradually erased family and friends from my grandmother's memory. Alzheimer's Research looks to fight this all too prevalent disease. With our help treatments and lives will improve, and one day a cure will be found. Please give generously.
