Historia

Community Companions (based at the Volunteer Centre) in Glossop is a team of trained staff and volunteers who offer companionship and help to elderly and/or disabled people living in Glossopdale. Our aim is to reduce loneliness and help people to remain in their own homes by supporting their independence. We do this through helping them to do their shopping, providing transport to medical appointments and visiting them in their home for a chat and a cup of tea!
