It’s been a while, but we are happy to announce that cleft operations will resume on this month. The pandemic brought this part of our charity to a grinding halt, and we had to focus our resources in other areas. We were able to help a few children receive cleft surgery last year, but now, finally, we are back on track and full steam ahead! On October 30th 2023, we will be welcoming an excellent team of Dutch surgeons to Sumatra. They will work alongside highly skilled Indonesian surgeons to carry out as many operations as possible over a two-week period. Our team has been busy travelling to some of the most remote parts of Sumatra and we have managed to find many children that need to find their smile. With your help, we can carry on with our work. Even the smallest donation goes a long way here in Indonesia. These children deserve to smile, and with your help, we can make this possible for the beautiful children of Sumatra.
