About
A message from the family of Chris Simpson. On the evening of Friday 8th July, Chris passed away peacefully at home in the arms of those he loved most, Terri, Kane and Chloe. Chris was our hero and the bravest man we will ever know. This has left us with the biggest hole in our heavy hearts and we are taking comfort from the personal messages already received from family and Chris’ closest friends who are describing Chris as their mentor, guiding influence, an inspiration, kind hearted, generous, hugely talented, unselfish, an amazing soul and a legend. Chris bravely fought his prostate cancer til the very end, his own strength and belief and positivity never left him. We are so grateful to Chris’ oncology team at Charing Cross Hospital who never gave up on him. We would also like to express heartfelt thanks to the team at Thames Hospice, Maidenhead, who helped us provide specialist care for Chris at home in recent weeks which is where Chris had the most beautiful, precious and peaceful passing in our arms whilst listening to his favourite music. Chris always thought of others before himself and to this end and in Chris’ memory we have created a new fund raising page for Prostate Cancer UK which will raise awareness for men to have early regular screening which will save lives. Men We Are With You. Chris We Are With You, you are a legend and you will forever remain in our hearts.
