Every once in a while I undertake a cycle challenge. This one isn't as ambitious as previous ones but it is overnight. Mid-summer, so fewer really dark hours, but still cycling when I'd rather be in bed? Where? Edinburgh and surroundings. How far? 50 miles. In aid of? Children's Adventure Farm Trust, which is a fabulous local charity that provides holidays on a farm in Cheshire for terminally ill, disabled and disadvantaged children from all over the North West.
