Our foodbank began as a reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic, financial hardships and job losses in the local area. Since April 2019, our dedicated staff, volunteers and generous donors have fed over 5,000 local people, providing a vital lifeline for those living in Camden Town and Primrose Hill Ward

Despite Camden being one of the wealthiest boroughs in London, the child poverty rate is currently at 37%, and the gap between rich and poor is rapidly increasing. Never in our 35 years of operation have we seen such a local demand for food. But together, we can tackle food poverty and prevent our community from going hungry.
