I am looking to raise money to buy backpacks and tennis shoes for kids at Stella's Voice. I will be going to Moldova in about a week's time, to help out with a summer camp Stella's Voice will be running and to also help out with the start of the 'back to school' preparations. I am determined to take with me on Friday 12th August, at least a whole suitcase full of backpacks and tennis shoes that are needed to prepare the kids for going back to school. These items are expensive to buy in Moldova, and the cheaper ones are often not good quality. Currently, at least in the UK, there are some great sales going for back to school items, which makes it the perfect time to buy them. Stella's Voice is an anti-trafficking charity that runs in Moldova. Moldova is a hot spot for human trafficking and Stella's Voice is working to combat this by preventing and protecting boys and girls from being victims of it. As a result, Stella's Voice rescues children from state-run facilities and homes them, educates them and essentially raises them up in a loving environment, empowering them to look forward to an incredible future but to also give back to the local communities.
