Following the walking exploits of our Basildon Council's employees over this year, a new challenge has been set to raise funds for the Mayor's Charity Trust. "Saturday 28th December 2024" "15 miles around the circumference of Canvey Island, starting from Benfleet Station". The Mayors Charity Trust's chosen charity for 2024/25 is St Luke’s Hospice.
