I've been given an amazing opportunity to run the Brighton marathon in April 2019. I've decided to run on behalf of Cancer Central for a number of reasons. The first being that cancer unfortunately effects so many lives in so many different ways. it can happen to anyone at any time and Cancer Central is a wonderful resource that those suffering with cancer can use. The second reason I'd love to represent this fantastic charity is because of Avril the founder and CEO of Cancer Central. I met Avril mid last year and I like everyone else that has met her was struck with how passionate and driven she was when it came to the charity and the overall issue of Cancer and those suffering with it. the journey she has been on over the last few years and her vision of what is to come is inspiring, and will certainly help around mile 20 when I'm struggling to stand!!
