Following a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis, my lovely mum sadly passed away on Christmas Eve 2014.
So this year, I'm dedicating my London Marathon ballot place to her memory and raising money for Friends of Deal Hospital. It's just my small way of saying a big thank you for the amazing care Mum received at Victoria Hospital in Deal, Kent, where she lived for over eight years.
Anything you're able to givey to support my efforts really would be appreciated. Whilst I've been running for a few years now, this is my first marathon. And it's going to be by far the hardest (and most emotionally challenging) event I've ever done. Electric shocks, ice baths and fire were fun, but running 26.2 miles on flat road genuinely scares me!
Huge thanks in advance.
