We know this winter is going to be particularly hard for many of us. The OCA Big Christmas Lunch will provide a warm, safe, welcoming space for those who may find themselves alone or struggling this festive season.

We believe in the power of community. We believe in building community connection and cooperation. We also believe that no one should have to go hungry, be alone or be cold this Christmas. The OCA Big Christmas Lunch will be a welcoming space for anyone who needs it. There will be food, entertainment and a very warm welcome.

WHAT IS IS?

A traditional three course community Christmas Lunch for 250 people in Oxford. This year we'll be using Blackbird Leys Community Centre.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

A warm welcome in a community space decorated for Christmas.

A chance to connect with others in the local community.

A three course traditional Christmas Lunch (vegetarian option available).

Entertainment will be provided for the whole family.

A small Christmas gift for each guest to take home.

We offer a meal delivery service for those who may be too vulnerable to travel to the venue.

We can offer support with costs for those who may find it difficult to cover the cost of travel.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

£3 Could cover the costs of providing a small Christmas gift for someone attending our Community Christmas lunch.

£12 Would cover the cost of a three course Christmas lunch for someone who may be alone this Christmas.

£27 Would mean we can cook and deliver a three course Christmas meal for a couple at home who may be too vulnerable to attend in person.

£60 Can help us feed a family of five in a warm, welcoming space on Christmas day.

£100 Would support us to provide individuals and families with travel cost reimbursement so they can attend in person.

£200 Would cover the costs of entertainment and decorations for our venue to make our Big Christmas Lunch a truly wonderful festive experience.
