Hello everyone! On the 11th July this year, myself and a group of military university bursars are headed to Kenya in order to actively engage in the construction and furnishing of a classroom and sanitation block, as well as the construction of an outside shelter for a local disabled volleyball team. The secondary aim is for us as bursars to develop an appreciation of project management and fundraising through a challenging fundraising target set for all participating persons. Which is why I have set up this page. Your donations will be used to purchase essential equipment, which can then be donated to LOCAL CHARITIES when in Kenya, notsending me off on some jolly. I have worked hard so far and set a lot of my own money aside in terms of vaccinations, insurance etc. to go out and do this, so anything you can spare would be amazing! As a group we aim to raise 7500 for the Save Ol Pejetas Rhinos campaign, affiliated with the Tusk Trust Charity Number 803118. Hoping that a further 7500 will be raised for the Nakuru Childrens Project. I have started my goal at 250, lets see if we can smash it! Chris
