I will be undertaking the trailwalker challenge 2014 in aid of Polymicrogyria Family Support. It is a charity that is close to my heart, as my 4 year old niece has this condition. At fours years of age Isabella is unable to walk or talk or do anything independently. Despite this she is a determined little star and she is always smiling.
Isabella and all of her friends who have the same condition are an inspiration. So I couldn't think of a better charity to support, I think it is only right that I challenge myself the way that they do on a daily basis. I will be walking 100km across the South Downs in under 30 hours.
The charity supports families affected by Polymicrogyria, by sending gifts whilst the children are in hospital and arranging much needed family days out where families can meet up, have fun and share their experiences. The charity also has a vision of building a sensory holiday home, so families can enjoy a break in environment suitable for their children.
Please give what you can to support this amazing charity.
Many Thanks :)
