Headway Surrey is looking to raise £200 to help to purchase supplies for our Art Group, which is attended by adults from across Surrey who have sustained an acquired brain injury. The art group provides a relaxed and enjoyable environment for the clients to learn new skills that aid their recovery from their brain injury, while also providing an opportunity to socialise and gain confidence. Being able to purchase supplies allows those joining the group to have pencils, paints, paper, clay and tools to use and learn new skills with, which helps in their cognitive and physical recovery, as well as broadening the offering of the session.
