Andy's Memorial Tattoo
About
To honour the memory of a special lady, Angela Norris, who was a close family friend and like another mam to me who sadly passed away last November after complications following a battle with terminal lung cancer, and in memoriam of two other missed relatives I have set my heart upon a special memorial tattoo in tribute to them all, once restrictions allow (planned for 29/9/21). The tat will also honour the memory of my late grandad. The design I am planning to endure the pain of the ink (at least 2 hours worth) can be seen on the pic further down. This is a very special tattoo with meaning in memory of two very special people who I lost who I held dear but also they loved roses, as I do, so its a win win. The quote also speaks for me, with all my achievements despite the odds. I hope to get the tattoo done before the end of this year, and in doing so hope to raise some good £'s for Play2Give my very own charity which as a fundraising organisation raises funds for a number of Oxfordshire charities including the Children's Hospital, Headway Oxfordshire who have supported me so much in my brain injury rehabilitation since the age of 23 and Sobell House, amongst many others. In total since I began fundraising to repay Oxford medical teams for the gift of my own life in saving my life twice over in my childhood once at birth after being born with brain injury and again aged 12, I have raised over £320,000 with supporters and the community through a wide range of events and the value of gifts raised as part of my annual "Sleigh2Give" Christmas present appeal. Any donations at all for Play2Give in return for me going through such extreme pain (not that I'm not used to extreme pain as I've had so many needles prodded through me in my life!) would be much appreciated so that P2G can keep on "changing transforming and saving lives across Oxfordshire and beyond" Once the tat is done I promise to give an update, and let you see it in picture in its glory! Thank you, Andy Andrew Baker MBE BCAv
