After Alf unfortunately pulled out of the competition, I have stepped in to take his place in Pavilion Dance's Business Come Dancing! I’m not a natural dancer and truly struggle with any sense of rhythm, watch me clap along to a song and you will see what I mean, however I love a challenge and to try something new provided there is no danger involved! When Julie approached me, I said no to start, however to raise money for such a positive purpose meant I had to say yes, living with Parkinson’s and Dementia affects many people locally and to attend a class, move, stretch and feel alive is such a constructive thing we must do all we can. The TV documentary with Jeremy Paxman helped me appreciate how living with Parkinson’s can be rewarding if you get the support you need.
