About
Whilst I’m not a natural when it comes to dancing I’ve always been obsessed with watching strictly and wishing I could dance. Growing up I used to watch my Nan and Grandad either ballroom or country dancing and wishing that just a little bit of that talent would have rubbed off on me! Fast forward more years than I’d care to mention and I went with my friends to Bournemouth Business Come Dancing and it was an amazing night, not just for watching the ladies and gents that had entered dance competition but hearing about the amazing work the charity does through dance. My grandparents also used to raise money for Parkinson’s when they were alive……….so I said to my friend that night that learning a dance, being taught by a professional dancer was on my bucket list and that I’d really like to give it a go one day and now this year I’m going for it! This is such an amazing charity and let’s be honest I cannot dance and I don’t like being centre of attention so this is HUGE challenge for me. I still can’t believe I’m entering in a dance competition but with your help and support from your donations it makes this challenge even more worthwhile and possible and makes me even more determined. . I’m aiming to raise £500. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for your donation. Thank you for visiting our Givey page.
