The North East Fund for the Arts finds and supports arts activity in communities across the North East region. These activities can address a range of social issues but ultimately the aim is to enable and strengthen community engagement in the arts and to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the arts. It's my passion and I'm lucky that it is also my job! I can't imagine my life or my kids lives without creativity. I believe in the power of art activities to encourage pride, identity, enjoyment, satisfaction, learning and change in individuals and groups. Your donation will be matched 1 for 1 (so, don't go and half your donation - double it!!). I have lots of running experience but I haven't got back into training since my daughter was born, last August. This is a challenge for me.
