Can you believe it.... Challenge number 9?! For the 9th summer in a row I will challenge myself to do something I have never done before to raise money for Reach Across - a charity my family set up in memory of my brother. Through previous challenges I have achieved world records, cycled thousands of miles, ran thousands of miles and last year I completed non-stop activity for 38 hours! I always try and push the boundaries and this year, with my hip deteriorating, I had to think outside the box... Boom! Kayak the Great Glen 50 mile canoe trail. All sorted with my partner in crime Martyn Phillios and my dad we were good to go.... Only to be struck by illness! The solution = Martyn will now swim 10 miles at Knockburn Loch Mon 11th July 2022 (nIldd it)! Ryan and his best man Chris will now tackle Loch Lomond 20-21st August 2022!! Myself and my many companions over the years have raised over £35,000 and I am now confirming this is my second last challenge for Reach Across. I will do one more next year but after that I will be calling it a day and focusing on my personal rehab goals, family and career. Thank you all! ❤️❤️❤️
