About
THE CHALLENGE

Chapter 82 of ARM (the Association of Recovering Motorcyclists) are taking on the Iron Butt challenge - riding 1000 MILES IN 24 HOURS to raise money for people affected by addiction.

THE TEAM A team of five bikers from Chapter 82 will be taking on this mammoth challenge!

THE CAUSES Chapter 82 provide a support network for recovering addicts and alcholics, who all share in a passion for motorcycling. They also support their surviving partners, spouses and dependents. They are raising money to jointly support their own members and families, and for Herfordshire charity Druglink - a substance misuse charity whose objective is to change the future for people who are, or could be, affected by substances.

Druglink educate people on substances and their effects in order to drive prevention and stop issues relating to substance misuse happening in the future. For those already affected by substance misuse, they provide a recovery and housing service which supports clients (and their family and friends) on their journey. Once in recovery they help people develop skills and confidence to enable them to find work experience and follow the path of reintegration back to a community.

With a shared passion for helping people on their recovery journey - all funds raised will be split equally between Druglink and Chapter 82.

Please support this amazing team in their incredible challenge!
