Fundraising for The Whitehawk Foodbank
About
Decent at The Tempest is a fundraiser for The Trussell Trust’s Whitehawk Foodbank in Brighton. One in fifty UK households used a food bank in 2018-19 with Christmas and New Year one of the toughest times of the year for many to put food on their tables and ensure loved ones have a happy Christmas. The Trussell Trust’s network of foodbanks offers practical help without judgement to those needing support due to in-work poverty or problems caused by the DWP’s broken benefits system. But we can make a difference to lives this December, the season of goodwill to all, by supporting The Whitehawk Foodbank to deliver hope to people across our city. https://thewhitehawk.foodbank.org.uk/ About Wildblood and Queenie: Now in their 27th year as a disco, DJing and you know what partnership; Wildblood and Queenie know how to make each and the dancefloor wiggle. On the dancefloors at Brighton Pride, B,Please!, Patterns, Club Barbra, Sunday Sundae, The Syndicate Party, Daze, or on the airwaves of 1BTN radio, Wildblood and Queenie are exactly what they say on the tin, with added disco strings. www.wildbloodandqueenie.com Decent at Tempest on December is the third in series of fundraising parties from Wildblood and Queenie. Playing disco, dancing with friends, fundraising for local, national or international causes. After 27 years DJing together, we know it’s not about the wages or the rider or the glamour (was it ever?!). It’s about giving back. So, come join us and let’s do the Decent thing together. To date we’ve raised over £350 for the Rainforest Alliance and The Brighton Rainbow Fund and can’t wait to raise even more this December as we support The Whitehawk Foodbank and Trussell Trust.
